Samuel Willard: Preaching Godโ€™s Eternal Covenant

Born: January 31, 1640, Concord, Massachusetts
Died: September 12, 1707, Boston, Massachusetts

Samuel Willard was a bold and thoughtful Reformed preacher in early New England. In an age of transition, Samuel Willard remained rooted in Reformed truth, preaching covenant grace with clarity and courage long after the peak of the Puritan movement..

Educated at Harvard, he shepherded the church through anxious seasonsโ€”challenging the injustices of the Salem Witch Trials. After his death, his works were published as the largest book printed in North America of that time.
